The NYT has been loving on SK lately. This 36-hour itinerary recommends many of the classics, from the “carnivalesque” Hongdae (“you can’t miss Luxury Norebang… a multistory karaoke palace that looks like Pee Wee’s Playhouse as decorated by Laura Ashley”) to the Dragon Hill Spa & Resort (“Something like an amusement park with a touch of ’80s Vegas, complete with pyramids and a Native American-themed pub”).
